Waverly is a city in Bremer County and is home to Wartburg College, a four-year liberal arts college that opened in 1852. Waverly is part of the Waterloo–Cedar Falls Metro Area and has a population close to 9,000.

Waterloo is adjacent to Cedar Falls and has a population over 68,000 people . Small suburbs include Evansdale, Hudson, Raymond and Elk Run Heights.
